Founder & CEO
Graduate to Employment
Throughout his career Michael Sherman has been accountable for hiring thousands of recent graduates and students directly from college campuses. Leveraging his knowledge and expertise, Michael has coached and mentored countless college juniors, seniors and recent grads to be in the best position to find substantive internships and full-time employment as they enter the workforce while empowering their life skills.

For almost 30 years Michael has been a thought leader in the fields of Staffing and Recruitment. His experience advising hiring managers and job seekers transcends industries to include financial services, technology and healthcare. Most recently Michael led Global Recruitment for Bank of America which included the hiring of over 5,000 students annually. While at Bank of America Michael worked with senior leaders and managers across the franchise to understand what they wanted in entry level hires. Prior to his ten years with BofA he supported hiring needs across EMC Corporation, a global leader in technology.

Senior executives have solicited Michael’s expertise to advise their own children, including sitting board members of Fortune 500 companies. He “gets” the hiring process from an insider’s perspective providing nuanced advice to college students and recent graduates that they simply cannot get anywhere else. Michael has worked with hundreds of hiring managers and applicants. He has been “in the room” when managers discuss what they liked and did not like about applicants and interviews and knows what makes an entry level candidate stand out, leading to a strong interview and ultimately a job offer. As a frequently invited guest of the White House, Michael has advised the President’s Department of Labor on what companies and hiring decision makers look for in prospective candidates as well as serving on Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker’s task force targeting employment opportunities for populations facing chronically high rates of unemployment.

Through Graduate to Employment Michael is able to continue his passion for helping young people. The program is ideal for current juniors, seniors, and recent graduates who have not been able to find that ideal job. Participants gain confidence, self-esteem and other life skills on route to landing a position that reflects their purpose and passion.
